I decided to open this blog so that I could keep my friends updated on the status of my novel. I've been meaning to actually coalesce the fragments of chapters and piles of unfinished short stories I've written into something workable for about five years now, and since I actually have plenty of free time and very few concerns aside from a research paper I can actually get started... So long as I don't get distracted.
My novel is part Science Fiction, part Post-Apocalyptic, and more than likely all bad. From my experiences with trying to get published so far all of what I write is either "too eclectic" or "not what's popular"; to say the least it has been a bit discouraging, but no one ever got anywhere by trying once and giving up. That being said I will post snippets of the novel and the other stories that have built up over the years for everyone to read. Give me your most brutally honest criticisms, no kid gloves, no sugar coating. I need this to turn out as near perfect as possible.
